The end result, through collaboration with lead company executives, was the development of StarwoodPro, the company's travel professional strategy. The StarwoodPro.com website is the hub of this strategy and the basis for a multi-faceted marketing, public relations and advertising effort geared toward growing the travel professional business for Starwood's nine brands and almost 1,000 properties worldwide.
Sullivan Marketing Advisors was also the lead consultant on development of the ProLearning travel professional development curriculum. To date four modules have been launched and destination modules will be launched next year. Over 8,000 travel professionals have gone through the initial module and can now carry the designation StarwoodPro.

Actions included the development and facilitation of a travel agency advisory board, the creation of a travel agency strategy and program, the building of a marketing, public relations and advertising strategy to the segment, and eventually led to a major expansion of marketshare for Enterprise in the leisure/retail travel agency marketplace.
Enterprise then purchased leading car rental companies Alamo and National in the leisure travel and business travel markets. The three Enterprise brands now have more than 50% of the travel agency marketplace.
